I just want to take a minute to thank everyone who supported my little creative business this year. It’s been 14 years since I first started making and selling accessories and it’s the first time that I sold out of a collection, like, completely sold out. No more Walkstoff mittens or headbands until next fall! You guys blew my mind! Thank you so much + an extra big thanks to everyone who came by my booth or send me a picture to show me how happy they were with their purchase! 💕💕💕Je voudrais prendre un instant pour remercier tous ceux qui ont soutenu ma petite entreprise créative cette année. Cela fait 14 ans que j’ai commencé à fabriquer et à vendre des accessoires, et c’est la première fois que je vends toute une collection, vraiment tout. Il n’y aura plus de mitaines ni de bandeaux Walkstoff avant l’automne prochain ! C’est fou ! “You can’t get too much winter in winter.” I have to disagree with Robert Frost on this one. The last couple of weeks have been a mix of freezing temperatures and snow dumps. And I’m getting a little bit sick of it. What I’ll never get sick of is pretty and cozy accessories! So I used the time to update the website with what’s remaining of the last Walkstoff collection. Not much left! Hurry to have a look!

The last leaves are falling + I think it’s about time I introduce myself (again):
My name is Leonie or Leo for short. Here I’m wearing a headband made from a fabric I designed myself. I turned 40 this year (yay, I’m an elder millennial) + have always too many projects on the go. Too many ideas, not enough energy (endometriosis sometimes kicks my bum) but loving the chaos of it all.
I love love love reading (mysteries + beautiful novels), drinking tea or champagne (who doesn’t ?!?) and creating. Anything related to drawing, illustrations, fabric or textile art. 😍 Travelling keeps me alive as well as daily walks with Pumpkin, my black lab. I’m from Germany originally but recently became a Canadian citizen as well. Living between two cultures is beautiful and hard.
I hate that there are no more good romantic comedies!

It’s been pretty quiet around here recently but worry not, I’m still there. 💕 I’ve been working on production, designing fabrics + tea towels, researching and enjoying summer. To be honest, I just couldn’t be bothered to post. Well, we’ll be off on a much needed vacation to Nova Scotia soon and I can’t wait to just relax by the ocean. Hopefully, I’ll find inspiration and motivation to post more in August!
